What is Varroa-Warrior?
Varroa-Warrior is a technical device for the heat treatment of honey bee colonies against the bee mite Varroa Destructor.
How does Varroa-Warrior work?
The device uses heat to eliminate the bee mite without harming the bees, the brood and their hive.
When can the device be used?
If the outside ambient temperature exceeds 18°C and there are at least two combs with capped brood in the hive.
How often to use Varroa-Warrior?
The device is used once every three months. The first treatment of the year starts in April, the next takes place in July and the last in October.
